Testimonials

Anna Velasquez
My daughter was always the one who was not necessarily shy, but not very bold. When she told me she wanted to dance, I didn't know what to say because of her personality. On the day of her first dance class, I remember sitting in the lobby watching all the little kids getting ready, some were crying because they didn't want to leave their mommies and daddies and my daughter was so excited! She came home that night with the biggest smile and said how much she loved it! Ever since then she has been doing dance! It makes her so happy and she just adores Miss Catherine and the rest of the dance teachers at A Time To Dance! Their professionalism and dedication to the dancers is unbelievable and the show they put on at the end of the year is amazing and shows how hard they work! Miss Catherine is truly a gift to my daughter, and I am so thankful for the past 4 years and all that she has learned!!!
 Thank you!!!

Our daughter started taking dance classes at A Time to Dance at two years old and is now in her 5th year of dance. Miss Catherine is a great teacher and has such patience with the dancers. The recital each year amazes me because the dancers always do such a good job and show how much they have learned in such a short time. We are big fans of Miss Catherine and all her helpers and highly recommend A Time to Dance!

My daughters have had the wonderful privilege of dancing with Catherine Frates for over ten years.  I consider Catherine not only a dance teacher but a mentor, modeling professionalism, perseverance and above all, kindness.  Their experience with a Time to Dance has been priceless and I know that they have a lifetime of fond memories and lessons to draw upon as a result.  I highly recommend the studio to anyone who wants to "dance for the fun of it."
Thanks for everything.

The Hall Family: Tina, Rob, Claire.
My daughter Claire has been dancing with Miss Catherine since she was 3.  We were thrilled when Catherine opened A Time To Dance and we followed her without hesitation.  Claire has had 13 years of dancing with Catherine and A Time To Dance and we couldn’t have had a better experience anywhere else.  There is a feeling of family with all the students and teachers and Miss Catherine.  We have come to love her and appreciate all the time and love she puts into all that she does.  The recitals are always done so well and watching the kids grow up and perform together over the years has been a true pleasure!  Catherine we love you!

I started taking dance lessons from Miss Catherine before she opened A Time to Dance and was thrilled when she opened A Time to Dance and was thrilled when she opened the studio. My children are now in her combo classes, and I take her clogging class. I cannot speak highly enough of this studio. Miss Catherine is an amazing teacher. It takes someone who is highly skilled to take a class of fifteen five-year-olds and not only maintain order, but also keep them engaged and active through a whole class session. I love when my quiet little girl comes home gushing about learning first position and tendu and plie. As an adult student, I appreciate how she balances the serious pursuit of dance with simple pleasure of dance. A Time to Dance is a wonderful studio that provides excellent dance instruction, and my girls and I look forward to many more years of classes from Miss Catherine.
